The City of Glendale amended Section 7.15.4 of the City Code, which governs retail establishments’ operating hours within 500 feet of residential zoning districts. The Common Council recently approved an Ordinance with the following retail operating hours:

Sunday–Thursday: Close by 11:00 PM
Friday–Saturday: Close by midnight
Drive-Through Operations: Allowed until 2:00 AM daily
Delivery or Pick-Up Only: Allowed until 2:00 AM daily
City Code maintains exemptions and preserves the Common Council’s authority to extend hours during special events. Please review the Ordinance on the City’s website for further details on hours of operation.
